Privacy policy
If you register on the platform FAD by Didaxè and use the aforementioned platform, your personal data ("Data") will be processed by Us, Didaxé Cooperativa Sociale a R.L., in the capacity of “Data Controller”. We will process your data in compliance with the principles established by the EU Regulation 2016/679, commonly referred to as the "GDPR" (The General Data Protection Regulation).

1. Purpose of Data processing
What data do we process and for what purpose?
We may process the following personal data: name, surname, email, age, country, city and data generated in the use of the platform (by way of example: courses taken, access logs, grades, etc.).
The purpose of the processing of the aforementioned Data is to enable you to:
a) use the platform following a specific registration procedure;
b) register, purchase and follow courses available on the platform;
c) interact with tutors and teachers;
d) use the calendar function;
e) receive messages and alerts as well as obtain badges (including personalized ones).
Additionally, we may process some of your personal data provided upon registration for
(f) statistical purposes. In these cases, your data will be fully anonymized and thus will not be attributable in any way to your profile or identity.
2. Legal basis of the Data processing and methods of Data processing
The legal basis for the processing of your Data for the purposes indicated in points a), b), c), d), e) is the necessity of these Data to fulfill our contractual obligations. If you accept the Terms of Use (published at the following link: https://fad.didaxe.it/mod/page/view.php?id=130), we must process your data in order to enable you to use the service. If you want to use the platform, the communication of the necessary data is required upon registration. If you decide not to provide your data during the registration, we will not be able to register your profile on the platform.
Furthermore, we may process your data for the purposes indicated in point b) on the basis of fulfilling legal obligations to which we are subject as a Data Controller.
The legal basis for the processing of your Data for statistical purposes is your consent. In these cases, your Data will be processed through the use of "Cookies". 3. Data recipients
The Data will be processed, within the limits of what is necessary, by authorized internal personnel adequately trained and instructed by the Data Controller, as well as by the staff of third parties who provide services to the Data Controller and carry out Data processing on behalf of the Data Controller.
Without prejudice to communications made in fulfillment of legal and contractual obligations, any Data collected and processed by the Data Controller may only be communicated to third parties exclusively for the purposes specified in point (1).
Furthermore, the said Data may only be communicated to the following categories of recipients:
▪ Consultants and other professionals (including freelancers and organizations);
▪ IT service providers;
▪ Public institutions that require communication of the Data in question by law;
▪ Banks and credit institutions;
▪ Providers of administrative and accounting services.
More specifically, within carrying out our ordinary business activities, we as the Data Controller may communicate the Data in question to: subjects who control, review and/or certificate our activities; consultants and professionals providing financial and accounting services, legal services, and/or consulting in the area of corporate transactions that require evaluating corporate assets.
Furthermore, we as the Data Controller may be obligated to communicate the Data in question to public administration institutions, especially subjects entitled by law to receive these Data, such as Italian and foreign judicial authorities and other public authorities. These subjects may request the Data in question for purposes related to the fulfillment of legal obligations assumed and arising from the contractual relationship, including for defense in court.
The Data in question may be transferred by Didaxè to third countries beyond the European Union. However, the Data may only be transferred to countries considered "adequate" in this regard by the European Commission and/or to companies that adhere to specific international standards.
4. Retention of Data
As a Data Controller we may store and process your data exclusively for the time necessary to satisfy the purposes specified in point (1). We will not store your Data for a longer period of time unless the law in force requires a longer retention period.
5. Rights that you have as a Data Subject
The GDPR has introduced numerous rights which you can benefit from as a "Data Subject". These include the rights to:
a. receive confirmation that we store your Data and access their content (access rights);
b. update, modify and/or correct your Data (right of rectification);
c. request the cancellation or limitation of the processing of Data that has been processed in violation of the law, including the Data of which retention is not necessary for the purposes for which the Data were collected or otherwise processed (right to be forgotten and right to limitation);
d. oppose the processing of your Data (right to object);
is. propose a complaint to the relevant Supervisory Authority, the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) in case you believe we have violated the regulations on the protection of personal data;
f. receive an electronic copy of the Data concerning you as a Data Subject, when such Data has been generated in the context of the contract, and request that the Data in question be transmitted to another Data Controller (right to Data portability).

Should you decide to contact us regarding the processing of your Data, please use the contact details specified in point (6). Please include your name and surname and attach a copy of an Identity Document to make it possible for us to verify your identity.
6. Children’s Privacy
You must be at least 14 years old to use the Services. In some jurisdictions, this age limit may be different. If you are not of the age required in your country to accept the Privacy Policy, your parent or guardian must accept them on your behalf. We may request reasonable proof of such authorization. In this case, you must provide the authorization no later than 5 business days following such request. Shall we not receive any answer or proof, we reserve the right to delete your account and all the data collected.
In addition to having the minimum age required to use our Services under applicable data protection laws, if you are not of the age required in your country to accept the Terms, your parent or guardian must accept them on your behalf.
We do not intentionally collect information about children under the age of 14 (in some jurisdictions, this age limit may be different). If we discover that a child under age 14 has provided us with personal information, we will delete the information collected.
